Learn how to can in a casual, open environment. In this three-hour class, you’ll get hands on with water bath canning as well as discover some insights to quick pickling, pressure canning, & be able to preserve all kinds of yummy goodness. Classes are limited to 14 participants as a canner can only hold 7 quarts & we’ll be making two batches. See, you’re learning already!
By the end of the class, you will walk away with the confidence to can your own salsa, jellies, applesauce & more! For $60/per person, you’ll leave with a quart of your own flavorful farm made goods created with locally grown ingredients. You will also have the opportunity to purchase more Feathers & Fruit canned goods too!
Bring snacks &/or lunch as we will be engaged the entire class time but the casual environment will allow for grazing & drinks. BYOB as you will be encouraged to drink every time you hear “prep” (which we only prep for the first hour).
