Learn how to can in a casual, outdoor environment! Surrounded by woods & fresh air, you’ll get hands on with some tricks of the trade with pressure canning.
You must have taken a Canning 101 Class (or be knowledgeable in canning) before taking this 301 class as we will not be going over basics, only pressure canning. Classes are limited to 7 participants as that is how many quarts a canner can hold. See, you’re learning already! By the end of the class, you will walk away with the confidence to can your own low acidic items like stock, meat, veg & more!
$40/per person gets you 2.5 hours of class, a quart of your own flavorful farm fresh stock (not sure if doing veggie or chicken but either way, it’ll be delish), and 30 minutes to shop my private inventory containing items that will never be for public sale.
I will also have some local cheese, crackers, & pickled fixins for snacks so feel free to byob, friends and food.
MASKS: Because we will be outdoors & everyone will have their own 6ft workspace, masks are NOT required.
