Surrounded by woods & fresh air\, you’ll get hands on with water bath canning as well as discover some tricks of the trade with pressure canning. \nClasses are limited to 7 participants as that is how many quarts a canner can hold. See\, you’re learning already! By the end of the class\, you will walk away with the confidence to can your own tomato sauce\, jellies\, applesauce & more! \n$40/per person gets you 2.5 hours of class\, a quart of your own flavorful farm fresh spiced apples\, and 30 minutes to shop my private inventory containing items that will never be for public sale. \nI will also have some local cheese\, crackers\, & pickled fixins for snacks so feel free to byob\, friends and food. \nMASKS: Because we will be outdoors & everyone will have their own 6ft workspace\, masks are NOT required.

Join Jessie Gantt-Temple of Feathers & Fruit for an evening of learning about the basics of canning. This workshop will be full of hands-on learning while participants water-bath can apples. Each participant will go home with a quart of canned apples. \n***The December advanced canning class (pressure canning) requires participants to take one of our basic canning classes\, such as this apple canning class.

DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of rifle safety and marksmanship! \nFREE! Basic Rifle class! You will learn the basics of gun safety\, the types of rifles and how they work\, proper ammunition\, and the 6 fundamentals of marksmanship. Then to the range for live fire instruction! Bring your own\, or we will provide guns\, ammo\, eye and ear protection-all you need is a teachable spirit! \nAges 10 and up. \nTaking place on a farm\, there will be opportunity to purchase items like salsa\, pickled veg or egg\, fresh eggs & other farm goodies. \nPlease bring plenty of water\, a notebook and pen\, if possible a folding chair\, and appropriate clothing. If you have a yoga mat or an old blanket to lie on for prone shooting that would be helpful. \nDonations are gladly accepted so we can continue our work of teaching gun safety\, marksmanship\, and most importantly\, the Blessings of Liberty. \nYou must RSVP through the Eventbrite ticket link. PLEASE do not sign up unless you will be attending. The tickets are limited and if you sign up then don’t come\, someone who wanted to attend will be shut out.
